Mélanie Couture présentera le 7 juillet 2026 à l’International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics (IAGG) à Amsterdam dans la cadre du 23e congrès mondial de gérontologie et de gériatrie (World Congress of Gerontology and Geriatrics). Elle contribue au Symposium Violence in old age avec sa présentation intitulée Violence in the context of caregiving: Community workers perspectives.
Elle présente également dans la session Ageing as LGBTQ+ Older People in Chile and Canada: Comparing Experiences and Contexts, une présentation intitulée Mistreatment of Older Adults in the Context of Gender and Sexual Diversity in Residential and Long-Term Care: What Can We Learn from Canadian Studies?
Nous souhaitons aussi souligner la participation de la Chaire dans la présentation de Dolores Majón-Valpuesta qui présentera dans la session Diversity in Later Life: Fostering Change and Inclusion in Older Adult Housing and Care, une présentation intitulée “We think and do things differently.
