The Governmental Action Plan to Counter Mistreatment of Older Adults (2022-2027) (free translation of Plan d’action gouvernemental pour contrer la maltraitance envers les personnes aînées (2022-2027)), also called PAM-3, was officially made public on June 12. For the occasion, Marie Beaulieu was invited to take part in the press conference where the Minister responsible for Seniors and Informal Caregivers, Marguerite Blais, unveiled the content of this much anticipated 3rd Action plan.

Minister Blais seized the opportunity to give an honorary certificate to Marie Beaulieu which highlights her “remarkable contribution to countering mistreatment of older adults and for raising the awareness of citizens to wellness care” (free translation).

The PAM-3 is the 3rd governmental action plan of Québec, after those of 2010 and 2017. The Chair has contributed to the reflection and its writing in terms of scientific content.

Moreover, four members of the Chair were thanked for their contribution to the PAM-3: Marie Beaulieu, Julien Cadieux Genesse, Marie-Chantal Falardeau and Kevin St-Martin.
