The CCEG of the Cégep de Drummondville, the Living Lab en innovation ouverte (LLio) of the Cégep de Rivière-du-Loup, SOS violence conjugale, the Maison d’hébergement Simonne-Monet-Chartrand, the Équipe de Recherches Appliquées et Interdisciplinaires sur les Violences intimes, familiales et structurelles (RAIV), as well as the Institut et Haute École de la Santé La Source HES-SO has led from March 2021 to March 2023, a research action entitled: “Violence within aged couples living at home during a confinement period: reinforcing the sense of security with a better understanding of these situations and the realisation. (Violence au sein des couples âgés vivant à domicile en période de confinement: renforcer le sentiment de sécurité par une meilleure compréhension de ces situations et la réalisation)”.

The report " violence, maltraitance et négligence à l’égard des personnes âgées " realised by the Independent expert responsible for promoting the exercise of every human rights by older adults, Claudia Mahler, was published on August 7, 2023 and was presented a the fifty fourth session of the Human Rights Council.

To be held online on June 10, 2021, this one-day conference is of particular interest to those professionals wishing to deepen their knowledge of risk management in their efforts to protect vulnerable older adults.
