Each year, the Research Chair on Mistreatment of Older Adults participates in awareness-raising activities surrounding World Elder Abuse Awareness Day held on June 15. Here is a partial list of our commitments in 2021.

In honour of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, this activity is hosted by the Canadian Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse and the International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse in honour of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day. Registration is free of charge on the CNPEA website.

- Beaulieu, M. (2021, June 16). Voices of older persons with disabilities who have experienced mistreatment. [Webinar]. World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 2021 – International Conference organised by Trinity College Dublin and the International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse.
Several addresses by researchers and practitioners will be spotlighted between 10 am and 1 pm Québec time. Marie Beaulieu will speak for approximately 20 minutes, starting at 10:45 am. Registration is free of charge!
