Summer school on social gerontology

Dear students,

From Mai 15 to 18, 2023 the summer school on social gerontology will be held at the Concordia University, organized by the Centre de recherche et d’expertise en gérontologie sociale (CREGÉS) and the research team VIE, this event will allow students from different courses, programs and universities to learn and discuss about social gerontology.

Multiple activities such as conferences, presentations, workshops, networking activities and reflection and exchange periods about the future of research in social gerontology will be offered. During this event, the research expertise of professors and researchers involved in the summer school will be put to the forefront.

Notably, Mélanie Couture, Chairholder of the Research Chair on Mistreatment of Older Adults, will offer a presentation on Living Lab types of project and their advantages to answer to the issues linked to the social aspects of aging.
