Nomination of Marie Beaulieu to the Advisory Council on Aging for Québec at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) (October 2021)

Across Canada, four Regional Advisory Councils have recently been established by the CIHR Institute of Aging (IA).

Composed of six to 10 members, each regional advisory council is mandated to provide input to the IA on the diverse issues that older adults face in Canada. Preliminary work begins for the writing of the CIHR Institute of Aging’s next Strategic Plan. Once adopted, it will present the country’s future research priorities.

Marie Beaulieu now sits on the Advisory Council for Québec, which will meet twice a year for the next two years.
