Marie Beaulieu hosts an on-line conference at the Spanish Society for Geriatrics and Gerontology’s Virtual Congress (SGGE) (October 2020)

On October 14, at the SGGE’s first on-line congress, Marie Beaulieu will provide its members with information on the practices of prevention and support for older persons at risk of mistreatment in residential settings during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This presentation is part of a seminar addressing the complexities of possible interventions to protect older adults, the effects of the pandemic on their overall health and the general knowledge that has been acquired over the past months.

This conference showcases the data drawn from a survey done with 18 members of the International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse (INPEA) and forms the basis of an open-access article written by the Chair and published in the Journal of Adult Protection.
