The International Federation on Ageing (IFA) invites Marie Beaulieu to be part of a round table discussion on the mobilisation of scientific knowledge concerning intervention (March 2022)

As part of the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing 2021 – 2030, three round table discussions continue the deployment of activities facilitating exchanges between government dignitaries, representatives of international NGOs, universities, the media and private sector stakeholders. The aim is to improve the quality of life of older adults, their family members, their communities as a whole.

More specifically, Marie Beaulieu will participate via video-conference, presenting the recent results of the research project entitled Psychological and financial mistreatment of older adults with disabilities in Québec.

Ultimately, this round table discussion will identify Canadian approaches that favour healthy ageing and contribute to the UN’s Decade of Healthy Ageing by sharing these with the international community.
