The Research Chair team welcomes a new student this summer! (July 2020)

As part of a project funded by the Office des personnes handicapées du Québec (Quebec government agency to increase the social participation of people with disabilities) exploring the psychological, material and financial mistreatment of older adults, Maxime Hébert will complete a secondary analysis of collected data.

A doctoral student in psychology at the l’Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Maxime will concentrate on an analysis of the elements associated with empowerment that were mobilized by the older adults interviewed for this project to end situations of mistreatment.

During this 3rd cycle research internship, Maxime will be supervised by Marie Beaulieu (principal researcher), Hélène Carbonneau (co-researcher) and Lyson Marcoux (collaborating researcher).
