Dear students, From Mai 15 to 18, 2023 the summer school on social gerontology will be held at the Concordia University, organized by the Centre de recherche et d'expertise en gérontologie sociale (CREGÉS) and the research team VIE, this event will allow students from different courses, programs and universities to learn and discuss about social gerontology.

On May 14, Marie-Chantal Falardeau, doctoral student in communications at the University of Québec at Trois-Rivères, received her Ph.D. after successfully defending her thesis. The final submission of her thesis is imminent. In June 2020, she begins her post-doctoral studies under the direction of Marie Beaulieu. These studies will be undertaken for the Chartwell-2 project.  
The project is led by Vanessa Daigle and is entitled Intervenir en milieu de vie et de soins pour personnes aînées en temps de COVID-19: quand l’action tombe sous le sens. It is funded by a MITACS research scholarship and a financial contribution from the Jasmin Roy Sophie Desmarais Foundation.
