BAnQ choose the Chair’s website as part of their program of website collection (March 2021)
Since March 2012, Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ) has implemented a program to collect website addresses to ensure their conservation and search access.
The program falls under the BAnQ mandate to collect, conserve and disseminate Québec’s documentary heritage.
The Chair’s website was selected by satisfying the interconnected criteria of knowledge-rich content, interest to the general population, growing recognition through external referencing, accessibility of information, quality of language and user-friendly presentation.
The Research Chair team is excited to see its website chosen and considers this a confirmation that its digital platform aligns with its mandate: to ensure that quality information concerning the fight against mistreatment of older adults is made available to a broad public.
The Chair thanks the Secrétariat aux Aînés for the funding granted to regularly update our web platform and also wishes to underline the professionalism of the Cake communication Agency, designer of our new visual signature during 2019 – 2020.
