Designing a contemporary version of the factual quiz on ageing from Quebec, Canada and international data.
OBJECTIVES:
- Identifying contemporary issues associated with ageing;
- Documenting them by means of a literature review;
- Producing a synthesis for educational purposes.
MEHODOLOGY:
- Identifying 25 topics;
- Developing the quiz, including one statement per topic;
- Literature review (factual data and research results);
- Drafting one chapter per topic.
PROJECT ADVANCEMENT:
The 25 topics were jointly identified with the RQRV researchers. The quiz was submitted for edumetric validation. A training manual to accompany it must be finalized. The 2/3 of the chapters of each of the 25 themes addressed are written. The book was published on the fifth year of the Chair. A book chapter presenting the quiz was published in 2015.
