The research project IPAM (Intervention Policière Auprès d’Aînés Maltraités) (Police Intervention With Mistreated Older Adults) is in the process of data collection within the Service de police de la ville de Montréal (Montréal Police Department) (SPVM)!

The IPAM research project’s team, funded by the federal government, is currently collecting data (survey for all the police officers of the SPVM, group interviews in two neighbourhood stations, observation of the police practice with older adults, etc.) and it is going well.

Some results are already emerging. The collaboration with the SPVM is very constructive and the project is welcomed in the environment. For more information on this  research project, visit the page Research projects in progress.
