Line Chamberland is a professor at the Human Sciences Faculty’s sexology department of the University of Québec in Montréal (UQAM). Among her research interests are: sexual diversity, homophobia in school and work environments, lesbophobia and transphobia, sexual minorities and their health, as well as same-sex parenting. Mrs. Chamberland is also active in research in Québec. She has some research in progress such as a project on the interventions in healthcare for young LGBTQ populations, a project on transsexuality and aging, as well as a project on menopause and lesbian health.
