The Chair publishes two articles in renowned journals: The Journal of Elder Abuse and Neglect and the Revue Intervention de l’OTSTCFQ. (March 17, 2016)

At the beginning of 2016, Caroline Pelletier, social worker and a doctoral student in Gerontology at the University of Sherbrooke, and Marie Beaulieu published an article in the Revue Intervention of the Quebec College of the Social Workers and Family Therapists (OTSTCFQ). It is entitled “Rôles et défis actuels des travailleurs sociaux en gérontologie dans le réseau public au Québec” (Current Roles and Challenges of Social Workers in Gerontology in the Quebec Public Network). The authors discuss the role, as well as some of the issues and challenges of social practitioners working with seniors in the context of the Integrated Health and Social Services Centres (CISSS) or the Integrated University Health and Social Services Centres known under the acronym CIUSSS.
