From November 28 to December 4, 2019, Marie Beaulieu will be in Belgium to participate in a working session of the Un-MENAMAIS project.
This three-year project (2017-2020) aims to contribute to a better understanding of the mechanisms, nature, magnitude, and impact of sexual violence on female, male and transgender victims, their peers, offspring, professionals, and society in Belgium.
Marie Beaulieu will participate in this annual, weeklong working session as an international expert on the phenomenon of the mistreatment of older persons. Her viewpoint and the exchanges on this subject allow the research team to deepen and enrich its understanding of the issues related to sexual violence against this
part of the population.
