Various expert collaborators who contributed to this book continue to reflect on well-treatment, based on five major themes: Testimonials, experiences and perceptions; Tools; Well-treatment and supporting seniors; Well-treatment, end of life and death; Feedbacks; when the body becomes transparent and the soul opaque. Each is treated by various expert collaborators.
The Chair (Marie Beaulieu and Marie-Ève Bédard), in collaboration with Pierre Blain of the Regroupement provincial des comités des usagers (provincial coalition of users’ committees), has also drafted in this second volume a chapter entitled La lutte contre la maltraitance envers les personnes aînées au Québec. Bilan et prospectives sous une approche de défense des droits (Countering mistreatment of older adults in Quebec. Current situation and prospects under a rights-based approach).
The book is available at various bookstores.
