Marie Beaulieu participates in a Working Group on Aging of the United Nations. (July, 2018)

Marie Beaulieu will participate as a member of the civil society, as the North American representative of INPEA (International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse). She will make a point in plenary on July 25 on the protection of rights of individuals in long-term care facilities based on the thesis of Marie-Eve Bédard, completed in the spring of 2018 with the Chair. Ms. Beaulieu will also be a speaker on July 25 in a midday conference organized by INPEA to discuss attacks experienced by residents in long-term care, inspired by Roxane Leboeuf’s scoping review in the ongoing development of her doctoral thesis.
