From May 25 to June 2, 2017, the Chair was in Belgium for a week to work with Respect Seniors. (July 24, 2017)

This mission, which took place from May 25 to June 2, is part of the project: Pratiques inter disciplinaires et/ou sectorielles de lutte contre maltraitance (Interdisciplinary and / or Sectoral Practices in Countering Mistreatment Project). The goal of the project is for Respect Seniors and the Chair to share their expertise in interdisciplinary and intersectoral practices so they can enrich their respective practices. Specifically, the Chair was committed to publicising the intersectoral practice guides arising from the IPRAS and Bridging projects, while Respect Seniors was to share its expertise on the teamwork practice between a psychosocial worker and a psychologist. In addition, Marie Beaulieu and Roxane Lebœuf gave an opening address regarding the bullying of older adults at the first intersectoral meeting organised by Respect Seniors.

This mission of the Chair in Belgium follows that carried out by Respect Seniors in November 2016, when the president and the director of the organisation, Nicolas Berg and Dominique Langhendries, respectively, came to Québec for a week of work.
