Five new students and research agents joins the Chair’s team!

These newcomers are a Ph.D. student in gerontology, Omar Ameris, three masters student in social work (Audrey Allard, Jessica Calvé et Samuèle Rémillard B.) and a bachelor’s degree student (Nathalie Paquette) in social work of the University of Sherbrooke.

Having experience with the helpline Aide Abus Aînés (Help Abuse Older Adults) and in a CAVAC in Montréal, Omar Ameris joins the project about police intervention among mistreated older adults. His Ph.D. will allow to document this intervention from the perspective of older adults. Audrey Allard is translating the great interviews and reviews the chapters that will constitute a book about aging. Jessica Calvé is working at the deployment of the Chair’s scientific references bank on the program Endnote. Nathalie Paquette is writing reading notes for scientific articles written by authors of Québec. Finally, Samuèle Rémillard-B. is editing the great interviews which will soon be put online.
