The Quebec Bar Association holds the Symposium on the Protection of Vulnerable Persons. The event will take place in Montreal on January 31, 2014.

The symposium will discuss various topics related to the protection of vulnerable persons, such as the acts which require a personal consent of the protected adult, the determination of the inability of the older adult, the total or partial inability and the impact of the Act on the end-of-life care on vulnerable persons.

The Chair and Suzanne Philips-Nootens will co-host a conference entitled: La détermination de l'inaptitude de la personne âgée au carrefour des disciplines : le défi du respect de l'autonomie. (The Determination of the Inability of the Older Adult at the Crossroads of Disciplines: The Challenge of Respecting the Autonomy).
