INVOLVEMENT IN THE CHAIR’S RESEARCH PROJECT(S)

As the Chair’s coordinator (since June 2014), I have been summarily committed in all the Chair’s projects in order to support Marie Beaulieu in her functions. In this capacity, my collaboration includes the follow-up and dissemination of knowledge by writing scientific articles and oral communications, and I am also involved in various committees on behalf of the Chair. Besides research projects, I am responsible more specifically for coordinating the management of the Chair’s website, the scientific watch projects, as well as writing reading summaries on articles of the Quebec Watch. I also coordinate activities within the team and with our various collaborators. This is only a short list of all the tasks assigned to me.

  • Project : Older adult bullying :
    • Co-writer of a scientific article on older adult bullying for the Service social Journal of the Université Laval. (Spring - Summer 2015)
    • Presentation on mistreatment and older adult bullying in the framework of the Partners’ Day in Quebec City. (April 2015)
    • Collaboration in the literature review and data analysis with a view to drafting a brief on older adult bullying for the Anti-Bullying Forum. (Summer - Fall 2014)
  • Project : Financial elder abuse :
    • Literature review and writing of three book chapters  as well as two articles. (Summer 2102 to Fall 2014)
  • Project : Police Intervention to Counter Elder Abuse: Developing and Implementing a Practice Model :
